Howdy all, I am looking into a consumer grade camera for slow motion video. I don't think I need 1000 FPS like is offered in the Sony RX100 VI, but could easily be convinced that I do. Mainly I want to see if I can record an arrow striking home on an upcoming deer hunt. So I figure I probably need reasonable optical zoom to get close enough, and something that will record at high FPS for 5-10 seconds. I looked at the Tactacam at 240 FPS, but the digital zoom has me leery.

I picked my Lumix LX100 after advice from folks here and a great deal from Joel, so hoping to repeat the success again.

Thanks for your help.

Probably the best camera would be the Sony RX-10 MK3. It's 4K 960 FPS for 40x slow motion. Plus it has a fantastic Zeiss lens with a zoom from 24-600mm and the F stop is 2.8-4 at it's widest opening
Give me a call to discuss.
Thanks
Joel
