I use a Canon XA70. Love this camcorder, fullsize 1" sensor for great low light capability. Sets it apart from other camcorders I've used for hunt filming.

but one thing about remotes, wireless or wired: there isn't a single one available, according to Canon and large supplier B&H, that can simply turn the cam on or off. The remote I like does it all, except turn the camcorder on/off.

Well that really sucks, you can’t turn it on and off with the remote ? Seems like this would be very important as to why you would want a remote. Crazy
