I've got a RX1 with Hyper ZT cams and one of the bearings is going bad. It makes a buzzing sound when you bump your hand against the cam. I am not the original owner of the bow so this wouldn't be warranty work. I can't seem to find a replacement bearing anywhere online. Does anyone know if the bearings are standard across different brands or are they brand specific? Anyone know where I could find a replacement bearing or have any advice?

I’m in a similar situation with an older Hoyt.

Hoyt has a disclaimer in their warranty that bearings are not covered. That seems silly.

The bearings have a code on the side cover that you can usually google to find the generic replacement

Measure the bearing with calipers or use the code on the side. Bearings are universal and that code will get you an exact replacement. McMaster Carr should have several options, and probably for cheap too.

check with Bomar machine shop (NOT josh bowmar). They mostly work on PSE's, but their needle bearing replacements are fantastic.

Bearing replacements are simple as stated above. But I thought I had an issue with a prime bearing. Turns out the spacer in between the bearings was not proper dimension. When I tightened down axle bolts, the spacer rattled in between bearings. Might be worth a measure if there’s a spacer in there. Replaced bearings before I figured it out.
