No big long story here. I spotted this buck Friday morning about 11 miles into the wilderness area. I knew it wouldn’t score well as one side is a typical four point and the other side had two main beams, one with a 9” unicorn point. I put myself in position on Saturday, opening morning, to try and find him again. As luck would have it, I was fortunate enough to catch him feeding early in some thick willows. One shot at 400 yards with my Gunwerks 28 Nosler and it was over. One of my two best non typical Blacktails ever.
