Cali bear still tentatively opened?

Havent seen any news on whether cali has closed the bear/deer season yet ahead of time. Thoughts from anyone appreciated

I didn’t read the whole thing. But on the cal guns website in the hunting section. They mentioned fish and game are having some big meeting to determine what they are or are not going to change due to the corona. It mentions fishing, but not sure what else.

There's been no discussion thus far of closing any hunting seasons in CA. CDFW is having a meeting right now to discuss delaying certain fishing seasons for certain rivers/species in Northern CA. Bear and Deer season is still on, the big game drawing app was just released today.

My understanding is that hunting season will continue as scheduled but that fishing seasons may be delayed somewhat. I sure hope they don't cancel the hunting season, that would be devastating.
