Caldwell carbon fiber bipod

Anyone use any of the caldwell carbon fiber accumax bipod? Decent or complete crap?

I was in search of a taller Harris style bipod and saw the caldwell accumax 13-30" model at scheels. I know it lacks some features in comparison to the tricer rp but for half the price it got me interested.

Complete crap. It has a ball and socket type design that doesn’t get tight enough to not move when any preload is applied

Gotcha, not ideal but I also don't usually apply preload. Probably still not worth it if that is the case though.

It can come loose just trying to deploy the legs. One day I’ll tinker with mine to see if I can make it a solid connection but until then there are much better options.
