Any opinions on Cabela's brand boots? I've got a connection and get them for cheap so if they're decent I'd like to utilize that.

Older (discontinued) Meindl made in germany boots by Cabelas were superb. Lesser versions made in Slovakia or wherever where good but not great, varied by model. Current non-meindl ones made in china are as good as any other midrange boot made in china.

Look elsewhere. The meindl boots were good but they discontinued them.

Interesting. And distributed out of Kerney, NE home of Cabelas.

Hopefully they are back in the business of making fine boots in Germany!

Cabelas has definitely gone WAY downhill in their branded products. I would look elsewhere for something as critical as boots. Saving a hundred bucks just isn't worth it when the product can literally break a hunt.

Bass pro is selling a lot of boots for company’s all over cause none of there’s last Cabela’s was a great company before the buyout
