I have one on the way, from my research they fall in between the razor and viper lines. Best part is, same ol vortex warranty, so even when Cabelas is bass pro shops, or gone, you'll still be able to get it warrantied...
no local stores had them in stock so I couldn't put my hands on one, but they seem to have gotten very positive reviews.
It's big and heavy, but if I need to pack in I still have my minox 50 i guess
the interesting part is Vortex also lists an Intrepid spotting scope on their site for 1,099.
