Anybody ever used any of the Cabela's branded rain gear for hunting? What did you use and how would you rate it? I'm looking for something a little lighter for my backpack day hunts. I don't normally walk with it on, so it doesn't really need to be iron tough.

I've been looking at the Rainy River Paclite coat and pants. How heavy are these?

Thanks

I have been using the MT050 rain gear for 8 years. Not the lightest rain gear. It is dead silent and you stay dry. If you hike in it in warm weather you will sweat. I still lived in MN when I bought it. Many October days in a tree stand it kept me dry. Now that I live in Oregon I know it is not the best thing for active hunting. However, NE Oregon is the desert and I never get rained on. So I still carry it in my pack waiting for the rain that almost never comes.
