Has anyone seen the new Cabelas Minimalist Frame Pack yet, if so any thoughts?
I use a Badlands 2200 and have been considering a step up to a larger pack for awhile. I go on one 5-6 day trip a year while the rest are mostly day trips. The Badlands did fine last year for the long trip but was filled to capacity. I've been considering the Kuiu Icon Pro 3200 since it came out but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I also like the Outdoorsmans Pack but think its too big for my general hunting needs. I saw this new pack in a Cabelas mailing yesterday and thought it might be a great option for me since it seemed to have all I looked for in a pack including a detachable day pack.
Its a bit heavy at 8 lbs 10oz compared to my 2200 at a bit over 5lbs but not that bad.
