Looking to sell my binos. Great optics. 500 TYD OBO...very minor scratches on objective...more superficial and does not affect performance...

Hey Matt,
Would you take $375 for your binos? I'm in the market for a pair and was looking at a new set of vortex viper HD. Yours are the non-HD, used & scratched but I believe would serve my purpose if you're willing to sell for $375 TMD.

You do realize that these Euros optical quality blows junk viper hds out of the water right? Just because it doesn't have an "HD" associated with it does not mean it is an inferior product. These are great European glass and pretty much bomb proof. Good luck on the sale man! With I needed an extra set of glass.

Lundell, I appreciate your input and understand what they are but if they were superior optics they probably would have sold by now. I have been the only one to comment or offer on Matt's bios, that I can see, I don't have experience with any meopta optics but do have some vortex products that have served me very well.

I’ve been using the Cabela’s Euro 10x42 for the last few years and they are amazing optics. I haven’t found a reason to switch yet and as a matter of fact a few of my buddies have switched to these binos after looking through mine.

I switched from those viper HDs to the Cabelas Euro. Night and day difference the quality of glass in the Euro. I kick myself in the ass wasting my time with Vipers in the first place.

That being said, I spend a majority of my time glassing. Your scenario may be different.

They are great binos. and have served me very well. The only reason I am getting rid of them is that I am a gear junky and bought the HD's.

I’ve owned both the HD and non HD models at the same time, I used one my son used the other. There isn’t a lick of difference. There isn’t a 10x42 Bino out there for $500 that will beat the performance of these.

My brother has been looking for a some Meostar 10x42. Do you know if these have the same specs and if they have the same transferable warranty?

Looks like there is a consensus that these are a lot better than VIper hds. Vortex will serve you well until your on a once in a lifetime hunt and they fail on you. You should expand your search for binos if you don't take these. There are a lot better optics than Vortex for the exact same price.

Tman - Cabelas warranty on these are a lifetime warranty just like if you were to buy straight from Meopta.

Not sure if the Cabelas warranty is up to it use to be....
Defiantly not like they used to be I know on all new stuff it’s different since bass pro took over. They will honor the binos. Meopta still works on them for them or they will swap them out. I had a buddy do it recently
