Cabelaa vs Lem grinder

I have the cabela's that I purchased before the bass pro buyout. It's been a great grinder! However, today I would not trust Cabelas/BassPro products or warranty. Personally I would go LEM if purchasing today.

I also have a cabelas I got because of their lifetime warranty. Now that it is null and void, I would go LEM if I was in the market for another.

I have a 1 hp LEM. On top of all the game, we butchered our steer last year and it worked really well. I’ve spent a lot of time in my family’s butcher shop when I was younger with industrial grinders. I’m happy with the LEM. As someone else said, the foot pedal is the way to go.

I'm happy with my LEM grinder and stuffer. I did not have good luck with the one LEM vac sealer I tried and returned it.

Did own a Cabelas 3/4 hp for several years, zero issues. Decided to upgrade to the 1.5 hp model and went with LEM because they will be here when I croak and my son gets the grinder.
I was interested in the MEAT grinder. But they wouldn't answer any of my emails prior to buying so they didn't get my money.

Another vote for the LEM. My 22 grinds as fast as I can feed it. I didn't get the double grind head but I might upgrade to the double grind attachment eventually. I bought a cheap foot pedal off Amazon for way less than LEM sells a pedal for. If you're getting big grinder you should look at the hakka brothers sausage stuffer on Amazon. First time I tried to do snack sticks using the grinder to stuff them I was ready to throw the grinder out the window. Sausage stuffer for the win!
