I never bothered to bed the action into the stock, because it shoots factory 143 ELD-X sub-moa the way it sits, at a touch over 2700 fps. I have ran this setup out to 1200 yards, and shot a whitetail at 500 yards with it last season. Round count is under 200.
There is one ding in the stock (shown in pictures), but that is the only cosmetic thing I can find.
