Wanting to give the carbon barrel a try and I can't make up my mind. I'm looking at the Christensen Arms Traverse and the Fierce Carbon Edge. I like things about both guns and I really like that I can get the Traverse for a grand cheaper? Looking at a 280ai and that is the reason Edge over the cabon Fury in the Fierce. Everything I have found as of late is that both guns will probably shoot .5moa if I do my part. I have a cooper in the model 92 and it shoots .5moa so i'm not looking at really any other guns other than the two carbon barrels. I looked at the proofs a little but the price seems to jump up on them and not saying they are not worth it, but for me, I don't want to spend more on a hunting rifle than the guns I have mentioned. If you have any positive or negatives to say about either gun listed, I would love to hear your thoughts. thanks for any input you might have.

I'm a fan of the CA rifles.

Although I really like the Cooper that I have and they make one with a carbon barrel.

I have the Fierce .300 RUM CT Edge and absolutely love it. I ordered this rifle took like 8 months to ship as I do Moose and Elk hunts every year and I was sick of humping my Sendero around. I have nothing bad to say about it i only hand load for it and dont shoot any factory ammo. The half inch guarantee was accurate and I shrank that to 1/4 moa with my loads.

The trigger is outstanding and I lightened it up just a hair, and I love the stock also. Action is super smooth also. Took my friend along with his custom Snowy Mountain and he shot my Fierce a few times and was so impressed he ordered one that week. My honest opinion of this rifle is impressive and a big plus is it doesn't even kick with this fantastic brake on it. I reload for 5 different .300 RUM's and this one is a keeper.
