Ca. gun owners get a win. For now.

We have this in NY also (though I don't think I've had to pay a fee... (it's been a while since I actually bought any here)). Hopefully this will lead to a change for us, as well.

That’s what Ca does. Throw everything at the wall in terms of gun restrictions and sees what sticks once the courts get done with it. Then when something gets overturned we’re supposed to celebrate it like we’ve gained something. As a Ca resident it’s disheartening. Gun rights should be consistent across all 50 states, and the courts default should be abolishing and harmonizing laws in restrictive states to the standard that exists in the majority of non-restrictive states. Suppressors are a great example. How can 42 states allow them, and 8 forbid them? No other constitutional right is treated this way by the courts.

I've stocked up on so much reloading components because of this I don't even know what to buy. Any recommendations on 223 ammo online?

Like me, once you have been approved the gun store will only need verify you are in the system. It use to be $1 fee every time you purchased ammo, but I'll bet it has gone up since I last purchased ammo. Since then I got rid of everything I had. I'm ascared of guns.

This hahhaha. I hopped on today when seeing Midways email saying they will ship and I thought well shit there’s literally nothing I don’t have a deep stash of components for.

The state will ask for a stay while they appeal and the 9th will give it to them like they always do.
Not so sure about about that . We fight here or you are welcome to fight it alone when it comes to you . Remember it all the weirdos yall sent here for that last 70yrs that effed up my state . It’s just a matter of time before the hens come home to roost

Well said.
Case in point:
Our pissy Overlord is probably going to try to run to be all of our President, unfortunately.

Check this BS out.

Cal.and NY. are a good examples why state law should not supersede federal law. They waste their tax payers money on lawsuits. I'm sure that it could be spent on better things.

Not according to those who bring the law suits. FOOLS.

A background check to purchase ammo is total BS but I'd rather have the $1 fee than the 6.5% tax we now have to pay here in CO.

I reload, so not sure - the other guys can chime in if it applies to ammo. But we have a 10% tax on firearms ontop of regular sales tax (7.25-11% depending where you live).

It's absurd here and like my esteemed neighbor @Yoteassasin said, you can expect those who came here and ruined a once great state to flee back home and ruin it too :ROFLMAO:

Rough! I should have known as bad as CO has gotten, CA manages to stay worse 😂
