Any California hunters on the forum?
I’m relatively green to deer hunting. It’s my 5/6th season with a deer tag and I’ve yet to tag out. Mostly due to my lack of time in the woods scouting and hunting. Also my primary hunting partner was my dad but because of his age and health we were never able to hike more than a mile or two. Health has been more of a thing lately so I’ve been hunting solo but it’s been hard to motivate myself to do overnight trips or do the long trek into the woods alone.
Anyone wanna link up for a trip into d zone? Either this season or next. I’m game. A bit about my hunting style, I’m a rifle hunter. Don’t care about trophy bucks, still trying to tag my first. I want to hunt away from people. If that means we gotta hike 5+ miles I’m also game. Also have a mountain bike which has been great for me. I don’t like littering, I respect animals more than people, and an ethical shot is all I’m chasing.
