CA B Zone

Anybody having any luck with rifle I've been hunting my tail off when I'm off done a couple backpacking trips several day hunts covered countless miles of country just wondering if anyone is getting anything or any updates on how it's going with everyone else?

My buddy and I both got wall mounters this year. I feel you though dude, I've eaten tag soup for many years. Finally seem to have found a few winning combinations out in the wilderness. Keep at it, stay out there, and most important....... move slow and keep your eyes open

My buddy and I each killed wilderness bucks last week of September. They are out maybe try a different spot...

Thanks ya I might try a new spot it's pretty hard to give up where I go now I constantly see deer just no bucks. The whole B zone is new to me i primarily hunt the east side of CA C zone and x zone but I decided to broaden my horizon and be able to hunt instead of waiting around and out of state hunts but maybe it will pan out for me

I feel you; I've been holding this B tag since archery and have passed on some deer that I am regretting now. Hopefully my 4 day weekend will finally put an end to it. My #1 spot had 6 bears and a cougar roaming within 2 miles of each other. I've seen more mountain lion this year than I have in the last 4 years I've hunted the B zones combined. I am seeing bucks lower in the 3-4000k elevation. Not to say some are not still high, but I am told there are more lower.
