Hey Folks!
I'm turning to you for your Advice again, this Time it's about a Rifle Scope..
I just decided to go with a tikka t3x in .308 as my first Hunting Rifle and am looking around for a Scope for it. A Friend of mine offered me a Bushnell Nitro 5-20 x 44 in good Shape for 300 Canadian Dollars, which I think is a pretty good deal.
The only "Problem" I have is the 5x magnification being the lowest it can go to.. I live in the Canadian Rockies, with Hunting terrain from Ag fields to Thick Cutblocks or Alpine. My Worries are that for some of the thicker stuff a 5x magnification doesn't give me enough Field of View for Spotting animals at Close Range as well as potential follow up shots..
Field of View at 5x is 20 feet at 100 yards
Does anybody have any experience with this Scope in particular? I like the Deal pretty good, seems I can get a Scope that would normally be out of my Price range for a good Price?
