BurstFire Induction Annealer

It's good to see AMP has some competition. However, this still looks like a Rube Goldberg machine. The notion that you need coolant from a tank and the variable speed setting using trial and error is a pass for the more expensive AMP.

With AMP, you're paying for the knowledge and expertise in knowing exactly how much to anneal your cases. The time, money and resources AMP has put into their intellectual property is what sets them apart. Here's to hoping BurstFire can continue to innovate on their product.

Yeah, not crazy about the case prep stuff on the top. I can see it getting brass shavings and carbon all over it.

Anyone else have a problem with the split-screen video or is it just me?

I like the idea and would love it if it had recommended speeds for various brass.

Yeah, interested to hear user updates. I annealed for the first time in at least a couple years last week with my OG annealeeze and it wasn't fun. Need to update that hoopty or get something better.

Did a shipment go out or is everybody still waiting on them? I see they are on back order.

I think there was an initial shipment that was sent out. Then backordered/out of stock for a couple months. They came back for pre order at the beginning of this month for claimed shipping in October.

So there should be some in the wild. I guess the guess that said they bought them initially haven’t received them.

I have one. Originally I didn’t think I’d use the case prep station on top but it is pretty handy.

I’ve only used the annealer a couple times but works great so far! And is fast. The water is kind of inconvenient but it is what it is.

Now that it’s hunting season, shooting/comps are kind of on the back burner. I have a mountain of 25 creedmoor brass I need to anneal once I finish shooting the final 35 pieces of loaded stuff on Monday. I’ll try and get a report in the next week once I get a good feel for it. For the price I don’t think you can beat it

Just bought one, hopefully I get in on the November shipment. The cons to me are that it’s not as sophisticated in the software department and a few components aren’t as sleek (ie case height adjustment, external coolant, don’t need the case prep but whatever on that part). As long as it can hold up to moderate use over time, it’s a great value compared to the high end models. It would be nice to have more control on the anneal time/ways to get that “perfect” anneal, but I’m coming from an annealeez and can stomach that part. What I couldn’t stomach was paying 3 times as much and manually pulling the case out each time. I might eat my words but seems like a solid product for the price and I’m excited to get away from an open flame annealer for sure
