Burris signature binos question

If anyone has these binos in the 10x42 or 8x42, could you measure the minimum interpupillary distance? I see that the specs say 57mm is the minimum distance, but I also know that specs can be off by 1 or 2 mm.

I reached out to my Burris tech rep and he replied:

"I just grabbed two pair of the 8x42 and one pair of 10x42 SigHDs, and got 2.150"/54.60mm minimum IPD for all of them.

I will say that I removed the objective covers completely in order to achieve that, and wouldn't be surprised if the 57mm spec is with the objective covers still attached."
