I am interested in both pieces of glass to top a light weight but inexpensive Ruger Predator American rifle. I am not looking to spend a lot of money and both of these scopes seem to be pretty decent for their low price. Any reviews or comparisons?

No experience with Burris but have a Diamondback 3.5-10x50 on my little Mossberg MVP calling gun and am completely pleased with it. It's held zero and I really like the covered finger adjustable turrets. I would also give the Weaver Classic V series scopes a hard look I've own or or have owned 4 of these. A 2.5-7 rim fire on a Remingtion 581, 2.5-7 on a .243/.308 switch-barrel, A 2-10 on a .300 WSM, and a 4-16 on a 10-22T.
Warranty wise I think Vortex it tops used them once when I dropped a pair of viper HD binos. Never needed or have herd of anyone needing Weaver CS, Have herd of a couple complaints with Burris CS but only a couple.
