Bullet weight variance

How much of a variance in grain weight is a red flag? Half grain? More?

accuracy is not super affected by bullet wt.

i have put 5 shots of 68 gr bullets and 5 shots of 66 gr bullets into a measured .249 alternating them as i shot.

i measure a them for length and base to ogive.

I try to keep them within a tenth or two. Bullet weight difference has been the biggest factor for accuracy for me.

Quality bullet manufacturer tolerances should be +/- .1 grain.
