Possibly looking for a .30 cal. suppressor in the near future. Shop that I was in had one that after the $205 fee made it a little over the $900 mark is there such a thing as a decent suppressor that would be in the $600 all in price-range ?

I got an .30 cal AB A-10 warthog for under $500+ stamp if I remember correctly. Haven’t shot it much but it’s basically a 7 baffle steel version of the raptor 8. Pretty light - 11.2 oz on my scale and sounds pretty good. I little more tinny than my nomad Ti, which is the only other .30 can I have to compare. Should be bomb proof and will be used mostly on .223 and .243 rifles for my wife and kids.

I’m very happy with it for what I paid and the short wait times we have now.

Did I mention it’s ribbed for her pleasure?

If you go to Silencershop.com and do a search for 30 caliber suppressors and then sort them by price you can see the MSRP on most suppressors out there. Find one you like in the price range your looking for and have your local shop order it for you. There are many in the 400 to 450 range so add that to your mandatory tax stamp fee and you are in the ballpark. I went with a SilencerCo Omega 300 DTM that retailed for 595 and was out the door for under 800 and had it in my hands 2 days later. I have been very pleased with the performance on everything from a 223 to 7 PRC. I haven't used it on any thing 308 yet as I haven't shot a threaded 308 caliber rifle since I got it.

Have the same can, run it with Reardan atlas QD mount and muzzle devices. Love it.

My first 30 cal was a Gemtech Tracker. It is still functioning well 7 years later. It is one of the lighter "hunting" suppressors out there and can be found for sub $500 plus stamp. I have no complaints with mine.

I'm a little surprised by your comment on the omega, do you own many other cans to compare it to?
I have one and can say it's my least used/preferred can I own. I've even attempted to sell it off.

Only can I own so maybe my expectations are low? I'm still waiting for my local shop to get a Polonium located for me to be a 223 and 6mm can. Everyone who has shot a rifle with it on there has had a smile on their face due to noise and recoil reduction.

Why is that? I love my omega on everything but my ar platforms.

Is yours one of the "new" Omega DTM or one of the old style Omegas? If it is the old version, I understand. I put one up against my Dead Air Sandman Ti (another "old" can) and the Sandman was much more pleasant to the ear on a 20" 308. The new Omega DTM has a different baffle design (very similar to the Harvester) than the older Omega. Also, you can remove the brake on the front if you wish, which will make it a bit more quiet.

The Diligent defense enticer (steel not titanium) would be in that range. Also some of the Otter creek labs options are priced low.
This is the way. OCL is going to be a fantastic choice in the budget range, and Diligent Defense is just as good. Great folks running those companies as well.

I personally have the OCL Polonium, and for the money, it can't be beat for a 5.56 can. They're making a .30 cal Polonium now. The Polonium K is great as well, especially for the length. I've heard it in person.

I plan to pick up the Ti Enticer for my 6.5CM. Take a look at PewScience.com for third party analysis on silencer performance before making your choice. There's a ton of great, helpful information there. Great folks running those companies as well.

Q trash panda is 850 with free tax stamp in stock on silencer shop. Personally though I’d back order an A-10. Mine is quieter than my scythe-ti, friends banish gold, friends banish back country, and hangs right with an ultra 7 on basically the same gun and load my shooting partner runs.

OCL would be a good one aswell for cheap but looks backordered too
