WTB Budget LR rifle

ISO something ~8 pounds (bare rifle) under $800. Ideally heavier 26” barrel. 6.5 PRC, 7RM, 30-06 are my top 3 but I’m open to almost anything twisted properly for higher BC bullets. Intended use will be to shoot paper targets at 1000 yards and beyond.

I’m also interested in barreled actions or rifles with shot out barrels needing a new one.

Would have grabbed the 7RM 110 LR hunter if the twist rate was 1:8 or 8.5.

WTS - Sauer 100 Atacama 6.5 PRC

Less than 20 rds fired. Scoped it, took to the range twice and it just sitting. Accurate….Like under an inch with Hornady factory fodder. Semi-impulse buy….. $725 shipped w/o scope. uses 700 bases…. 24” threaded barrel with black thread protector. Thanks Dave

Mine has a nice wood stock and is BNIB if that temptation won’t go away

7 RUM is too overbore and niche for my use.
