Hey guys,
Some may already know about these, but thought I’d give the recommendation. If you’re interested in trying out barefoot shoes, but don’t want to commit with the price of Vivos, check out the line of Whitin shoes on Amazon. Around $40 per pair. They have different styles and colors. No, they probably won’t hold up real long. But, if you’re someone who wants to see what it’s all about, or maybe you’re already using barefoot shoes, and just want some extra options, here ya go. I have a pair.

They don’t really have anything with an aggressive sole for hunting/hiking that I’ve seen, but daily work, casual, or around town they’re great.

I've been running those for daily wear and light runs here and there. Definitely not bad for the $40 spent. Honestly, probably more bang for the buck than some other 'mainstream' brands (xero)

I have been wearing them for a year now. I have been using their most common pair, the Altra knock off version, their “zero drop road running” shoe. Plenty durable. Have now gone on two back packing trips and to the gym three times a week with one pair, and I use another for at work.

Picked up some some Freet's not long ago on sale. Order a size down per the comments. Xero Ridgeway's are good too for WP hiker good but not great tread. Wore on recent elk hunt and packout. Xero puts shoes on sale quite often

How is the sizing? Besides the zero drop running shoe, what other styles are you using for hiking or every day wear? I have been looking at trying out the barefoot method and good entry price.

For me the Whitin toe box is not as quite as wide as Altras. I got a half size larger to try and get a wider toe box. Curious to hear other's impressions.

No experience with Swale.

When in I tried a lot of boots, wound up in the tr103, low drop, good sole, semi harsh break in around the cup but well worth it. 103 has been discontinued but the tr105 is the same basically and I have been in those a few years now, fantastic boot. The tr105 is zero drop now, vibram sole, absolutely the best boot IMHO.

Is that a Within boot?
