Bucks in the "Bob"

Anyone here ever chase Whitetails in the Bob Marshall?

No, but some good ones have come out of the lower country in there. I have seen many whitetails in the Selway, including some really good ones.

BB, The selway did have some big Whitetails. Hard to find many now!

TwoTikkas, A guy I work with shot a nice whitetail in the "BOB" in 09. I will try to get pictures.

Cool! There is supposed to be an open seat in a truck headed to the Bob Marshall next fall if I want to go. I guess it's a fun hunt. Outfitted via horse back and un-guided. I just heard of it today,so details are few.

This is really tough. Finding out about the oppertunity the eve of the license deadline. I would have to apply tomorrow. Talk about short notice.

No Elk!! I would not make that trek for a deer. But that's just me.

I hear ya brother. Me too except for the price of the elk deer combo. I'm not sure how bad the fuel bill could be. You are right about the trek. Man it's a long way to Montana from PA. I may have to let it go anyway. I don't perform well on short notice. Getting cold feet. I'll sleep on it. YEAH RIGHT! Sleep. This isn't fair. If I let this go,I'm condemned to PA whitetails next fall. Oh man.
