Btx protection

I’ve had the Outdoorsmans case, which was decent. However, packing the BTX with a 95mm objective was obnoxiously bulky.

Now I use the Marsupial gear BTX eyepiece case and a second case which carries the ATX eyepiece attached to the 95mm objective.

If you’re going to be carrying an ATX/STX eyepiece, in addition to a BTX, this is what I’d recommend.

I just pull the forehead rest off and protect the lens with the covers it came with. As stated above, its already too bulky with the 95mm.

I run the konex case, 2 years on it. Held up good. Haven't seen the outdoorsmans model.

I remove the end pieces while glassing instead of letting them flap in the wind

I made my own....a cover for each lense, one for the atx and one for the btx. All the eyepieces Velcro to the each lense cover. Bought the material from a supplier that sold in sheet of 24 x 36, then got Velcro and elastic bands. It was a fun project , everyone in my family made fun of me wearing my readers trying to sew.

I like that! I'll be checking their site for pricing and availability.
