Brunton Heatsync

Has anyone tried any of the heatsync products from Brunton? I am only interested in the Vital but thought I might get more feedback on the whole line. I was considering a cabelas heated vest for sitting in my treestands and then came across this from Brunton and think it may offer more versatility at a cheaper price. Would like to hear the good and the bad on both or if there is another product. As a bonus if I get the Brunton I would then have an external battery to charge my electronics when in the backcountry. Thanks
