Not all algae are dangerous to dogs, but cyanobacteria is. A few years ago, a guy fishing in Lake Lowell in Southwest Idaho let his dog walk in mud with blue-green algae. The dog died soon after, apparently by simply licking its paws. Here's a link to a clinical article:Interesting.
We have algae blooms that kill off most all of the water life. Havent heard if it killing dogs.

Nope, just saw the picture posted by IDEQ. But that area does have chukars! Coincidentally, was out hunting Huns today with my brother in a different area- seems to be a very good year for them.Were you going after Devil birds?
