So I picked up an adjustable cheek rest from Browning for my X-bolt. They told me it won’t work with the stock I have because they install nuts on the inside of the stocks that come with the cheek rests from the factory. Being a guy who likes a challenge, I said ship it anyway I’ll figure something out!
So, I have some socket cap screws and matching binding posts and am trying to get up the courage to drill through my stock…
Anyone out there done this before? Any better ideas (other than waiting on a dang RokStok)…
New to “precision” shooting, so lots to learn and I still haven’t figured out what Aaron Davidson meant about not needing a raised cheek rest when he was on that old episode of the S2H podcast…feel free to enlighten me.
