Browning long range max ?

I am thinking of a rifle in 6.5 prc, don’t want any thing carakoted ( sp). Would like a tikka varmint, but it’s not made. Looked at Ruger Hawkeye ( would replace stock) and just seen the browning x bolt max . Any body have one,are they accurate, problems, things I should know think about, any help ? It will be used for hunting as well as longer range shooting .

I have a Max Long Range in 300 Win Mag, awesome gun. I did change the trigger spring with a MCarbo. Trigger pull went from 4.5 lb to 2.5 lb. Other wise a sweet gun. I also have a X Bolt Speed in 30 06. Also a great gun!!!!!!

Browning makes a nice rifle but you should look at the long range hunter line that savage offers.

I have the X bolt pro in 6.5 CM and its been great! as long as I do my part it'll shoot sub MOA ( I hand load)

I think you're looking at the Savage High Country. It's cerakoted. The Savage Long Range Hunter is not cerakoted, but it's also not offered in 6.5 PRC at this time. Savage might offer it in 6.5 PRC in the future though.

The Max Long Range is a SS barrel. The pro long range and HC speed long range are carakote. Check the Web site.

Kukusya, that ain’t good, my luck does not run good, and it sounds like a gamble if you get one that shoots good.
