WTS Browning BAR Lightweight 20" Barrel Wood

I have six of these available (3 in 308 and 3 in 30-06). These are Browning BAR MKII in 308 and 30-06 with 20" barrels. These are pretty rare, especially in this condition.

I also have A TON of extra magazines to go along with these that the buyer will get first crack at.

Asking $1300.

The only partial trade I would possibly be interested in would be a Tikka Lite T3x in stainless barrel 308 in like new condition. A cut barrel would also be a plus as I plan purchase some and cut down the barrels (I only hunt in an enclosed deer blind so a shorter barrel is more desirable for maneuverability).

Yes, the Lightweight 20" model all came with iron sights. They are easily removable if desired. I would just leave them on as you won't see them through the scope (some put over/under mounts on these so they can use the iron sights if needed).

Because I like them, lol. Back in the day, I collected a lot of Browning BAR's and now am just thinning the herd. No idea of round count, but not many at all.

I have vivid memories of standing next to my dad and fishing rounds out of his leather ammo holder that he wore on his belt and loading a magazine as he was shooting at running mulies across the sage flats. He’d go empty and we’d swap magazines. This was in the late 80s. He’d stop shooting when he couldn’t see them. He was a shitty shot. My 2024 self looks back and says that wasn’t very ethical…but holy crap it was fun.

BAR is one of my favorite all time rifles. Good luck and don’t sell them all, you’ll probably regret it!
