Just Picked an a5 wicked wing 3.5 inch up. I was worried about trap loads cycling as it seams to be something people run into early on. I ran a full box of 2 3/4 inch 7 shot (1 oz.) through it and didn't have any cycling issues. I think part of the trouble people have is how their body handles the recoil.
I have had a stoeger 9mm for a long time and never had any issues with cycling. This past year I let my buddies wife shoot it and she couldn't get it to cycle. I watched her shoot and she was anticipating the recoil and essentially pulling back with the slide making it so that the shell couldn't eject properly. I think a similar thing may happen with some of these inertia shotguns.
Wanted to throw this in for anyone hearing the same things as me.
After a few outings the A5 is the smoothest shotgun I have experience with. Highly recommend.
