Hi all,

Hunting partner passed away due to cancer, left me his favorite rifle. I am heading out of state in a week and got the rifle from his with through an FFL, but there's no magazine for it and not sure if she can locate/mail it to me in time since she is a ways away.

I need to find a 7mm Rem Mag Abolt/Abolt-II magazine (or two), P/N is 112022027, and get it here quick so I can confirm zero and then head out from the CA Bay Area to Colorado/Pagosa for 3rd, going to hunt solo with his rifle in sort of a tribute, hit up the first spots we ever hunted together.

Nothing on eBay/gun.deals/Bud's/etc is close and fast enough, no retail has them in stock any longer since it's an older model.

Anyone know of a site/location that might happen to have them? Or a brick-and-mortar shop in California/Nevada/Utah/Arizona that I could hit on the drive out?

Thanks in advance!

Guns Unlimited in Omaha had a bunch of older Browning magazines the last time I was in there. It may be worth calling them.

1st off sorry for your loss. The Abolt / Abolt II are fine rifles and shoot lights out. They don't get much attention now and days because there isn't a lot of aftermarket parts. I have an Abolt II medallion 7mag since 1994. If you handload, PM me when you get back from you trip and I can show you a way to modify that magazine you're looking for to really wake up that 7mag.

Sucks you lost your hunting partner. I’m sure he’ll be smiling down when he sees your harvest this year with his rifle.

Have you checked out Numrich? They usually have tough to find parts.

These folks have a lot of Browning parts inventory, including magazines.
