Hello evryone, I am new to rifle reloading. I have a Japan made Browning A - Bolt 7mm rem mag with a 26 inch barrel. I have both Hodgdon 4831 and Hodgdon 4831 s.c. powder. I also have Winchester brass and primers and want to use a 150 grain sierra boattail hollow point bullet. I am wanting a recipe to make a 2 in 1 round for both deer and hogs if possible. I need all the information i can get for this concerning amount of powder shell and casing lenth and any other info to safely build this shell. Hoping to get a round that is cheaper and better than Walmart not going to shoot any competition. 300 yard maximum shot for now. Thank you all help is greatly appreciated.

I have one and you'll like what I'm about to say. You can modify the mag for longer COAL and thus put more powder in your case. I run the 162 eld-m's in mine with 71g H-1000. Could probably get more velo with other powders but this works great.

162's now seated about .010" off lands. Mine has the BOSS system so i can tune it even further.

162 eldm on left seated out to .010" off lands
162 eldx standard on right
