For sale I've got a customized Browning X-Bolt chambered in the versatile, flat shooting, and mild mannered 280 Ackley Improved. The rifle was originally purchased as a 25-06 in a walnut stock- both the walnut stock, and Max Long Range stock will be included in the sale. The Max Long Range stock was purchased direct from Browning, and a Gunsmith was utilized to professionally install pillars, and glass bed the barreled action to the stock. The barrel is a Proof Research Barrel with 1:8.5'' twist (22'' barrel), chambered by a PROFESSIONAL gunsmith. The rifle has less than 100 rounds through the barrel- not even fully broken in yet. Selling to free up some much needed funds. If the buyer would like it, I'm happy to provide the factory steel 25-06 barrel at zero additional cost. 1,500 firm

I haven’t done any hand loads for this rifle yet. Has primarily sat in the safe since I had it rebarreled. I’ve shot factory Hornady 162 ELD-x through it. I can’t remember exactly what the velocity was out of this 22” barrel but roughly 2820FPS.

Factory trigger- 3/4” groups with factory 162g Hornady eldx. Less than 3 boxes down the tube, so hard to say exact all day long groups but has hammered so far. I’ll weight it tomorrow but I’d guess about 6-3/4 or so before optic. Located in WY
