Up for sale is a Browning 1886 rifle in 45-70 that I received in a trade. I have the Browning 1886 SRC and like that better for hunting. This rifle has the 26” octagon barrel and full-length magazine with the crescent steel buttplate. Wood and metal are easily 95+ condition. Sling swivels and leather sling were added before I received it. This does not have the rebounding hammer or safety in the tang like current Winchesters. This is a very close copy of the original 1886.
