Which broadheads are you using for whitetail?

Thank you for the info. I currently carry 125 Schwackers, but I’m new to bow hunting and have yet to put a broadhead into anything.

I’m not the most experienced bow hunter yet, just got my first deer with a bow actually, lol.

But on my one real world experience, I hit a doe through both lungs with a g5 Montec at 30 yards. Full pass through, arrow slid into the leaves and dirt a few yards beyond the deer. Decent blood trail and she died about 70 yards away. That head still spins true, touched it up and it’s back in the quiver.

I plan on trying some others, not because this one didn’t work, but I just like to experiment and I want to bump up to a 125 grain head and ideally use the same set up for deer and Elk.

I’ll add, I think whitetail hunting is not as critical on broadhead choice as Elk or other big critters. If Elk won’t be hunted, I’d go for a cheaper head. Grim Reaper Micro Hades aren’t a budget broadhead, but are affordable, and I plan on trying some soon.

If I only hunted whitetail, I’d just get slick tricks for 4/$35 on amazon, super cheap and allegedly a pretty reliable deer killer.

Shot the QAD Exodus this year and have every intent on using it next year. Awesome head at a very good price. Shot a decent 8 point with it and he only made it 43 yards, blood started at impact and awesome blood all the way to where he laid.

Iron Will S125 been great on elk for me (n=1) - small sample size LOL. I am wanting to try to figure out a 3 blade that I can resharpen for whitetails- hoping for a bigger hole
