Sorry no pics of babes I just wanted everyone’s attention…
What do you guys think about shooting broad head 1 time into a target to make sure it flies then go hunt with it? Or do I trust they all fly the same from the pack?
Also, on a scale from 1-10 how dumb of a question is this?

Not a dumb question. It depends on the broadhead really. A mechanical, no way. A fixed blade, it depends. Somethings with a solid blade, yeah, just hit it with a strop first to get the edge back. If it has flimsy blades like a Muzzy or Thunderhead, I wouldn't. Just leave one as a practice head.

I always just leave one as a practice head and my hunting broadheads are just for that, but if you want to make sure you’re hunting with the head you’ve tested, make sure you shoot it a couple different times in different configurations to make sure it doesn’t require specific nock tuning or shooting with a certain vane /fletch configuration

I’m really odd I have some old dull broadheads I tune with if those naps and old muzzles tune my newer sleeker more arrow dynamic heads will have no issues I just install my hunting heads and arrows spin them to check straightness and put em the quiver I might shoot one hunting head to confirm at 50

This depends on how much tinkering you like to do and how much you trust your setup. Mechanicals, no way. Fixed blade yes. I'd say shoot one, and if it flies good weigh the rest. If they are all the same weight and no noticeable defects, you're probably good.
Bought some Iron will broadheads 4 years ago and got the replacement blades. These proved to work as great practice heads, then swap the new replacements in for go time.

I’ve had the mechanical ballistic match not hit anywhere close to where the real expandable broadhead hit. So I now shoot the actual expandable a few times as well.
