Who makes the best britchen for mules? I was about to purchase one from Chris Tonrow, but he just told me they won't be able to make one for me. So who is next up?

I got mine recently from:

Seems solid.

Outfitter Pack Station also carries them, but haven't seen them. When they were out, he referred me to C&S who were great to work with.
Steve,

Do you have any pics and a cost? Feel free to PM me.

mountain ridge gear if you don't mind bio-thane.

Limited conway buckles on their gear, and replaced with roller buckles. Because everyone hates adjusting conway buckles.

I have a couple from Wade at Outfitters Pack Station. They are great. Covered roller buckles on the hip drop sections. He also can send it with extra leather straps so you can use it on a saddle without britchen D rings. Here's a pic on a saddle without britchen/crupper rings. You can see the extra leather strap connected to the rear D of the saddle.

I got one last summer from Jeff Pace. He is out of Montana but has a website https://jeffpacesaddlery.com/ and goes to several of the mule sales around. Quality britchin for sure and pictured below on my colt last summer.

Thanks. I don't have Instagram, so I can only look a little bit before they keep trying to get me to sign up. But I sent him an email. They look nice, several nice looking saddles on that page too.

I have a Steve Edwards biothane I don’t use. Got it for my wife’s horse and never ended up using it. I run the larger size Steve Edwards on my mare. Flat where the picture is but she does not like pressure on the back of her shoulders so I tighten it up going down steep stuff

I would sell the smaller one for less than I paid and ship it.
