I just recently flew home from my elk trip. I shipped my bow case and all my gear home via UPS.

Meat I had processed and frozen. 70 quart Coleman coolers are just under 62” total length and will be about 90lbs when full. I put 2x each of those thick suitcase straps around each of them. I flew home with 2 coolers and carried on 15lbs of jerky. 12hrs in the cooler and everything was still frozen hard when I got home. No ice added at all.

Those are cool, but at $30 each I think you could find a cooler that worked better, fits more and is reusable/sellable once you get home?

The ones we bought I think were around $15 and I think they will hold at least a 3rd more meat than that cooler. Plus, they stack easily and we were able to fit 9 of them in the chest freezers at the hotel and transport all at once in the airport shuttle.
