Who has $5k to spend on a rifle setup? Or $1500 on a fly rod and reel? Or whatever a high end set of golf clubs costs? $5k for a set of giant shiny wheels?

Any hobby or interest has people willing to spend what seems like a crazy amount.

It’s one thing to spend that kind of money on products from known, trusted, businesses like garmin, Rolex, or Apple.

It’s another thing altogether to spend that kind of money on watch made by “who the hell knows”, software that may have come from a bunch of high school kids on their Mac, and backed by some random dude with a tv show.

It’s one thing to spend that kind of money on products from known, trusted, businesses like garmin, Rolex, or Apple.

It’s another thing altogether to spend that kind of money on watch made by “who the hell knows”, software that may have come from a bunch of high school kids on their Mac, and backed by some random dude with a tv show.

I'm not saying I'd buy the watch.

But the price point doesn't seem like it would be a barrier at all.

I still use a analog pocket watch. It was my great grandpas made in 1882. I had recondition about 25 years ago.

A rifle is a tool necessary to hunt, a fly rod and reel is crucial to catch a fish. A set of golf clubs…a tool for the tools. Giant shiny wheels? Well if they whistle then it’s worth it.

A watch for hunting? Same kind of human that thinks that will help them be successful is the same that will be first inline for the keep hammerin micro chip.

A Seekins with a Tenmile and titanium suppressor isn't necessary. Neither is an Orvis Helios and Ross reel... Or whoever makes nice golf clubs, or American Force wheels.

But there's plenty of people willing to pay for a premium version in anything.

And a GPS watch while hunting is really nice.
