Bridger Watch

I haven't prepaid for any brand new launch gun in years learned the hard way that paying MSRP $1100 sounds like the new Sig P211 GTO 2011 or similar hot drop upfront is a sucker's bet.

Real talk waits 6-12 months. Prices drop 20-30% once the hype dies and shelves fill deals hit $800-900 easy, bugs get shaken out early adopters beta test, and accessories holsters catch up.

Intriguing ideas are cool on paper, but I'm not dropping four figures blind rather grab proven stuff or wait for reviews real world feedback.

Smart play if you're patient you'll get the same or better gun cheaper without FOMO regrets. Hold strong!

I'm pretty sure there is only one fitness app that features take a subscription to access. If your currently using it your already paying for it.

Bridger's "advanced cloud health metrics" will run you $75 per year and MTNTOUGH is $240 per year if you pay up front or $359.88 if you pay monthly. Minimum $315 annually of subscriptions to take advantage of all the watch features whether or not you're already paying for them...it may not be an added cost but it is a required cost for full functionality.

You’ll also get Bridger’s advanced cloud health metrics free for your first year (a $75 value), giving you deeper insight into performance, recovery, and readiness.

How Much Does MTNTOUGH Cost?

The subscription fee is $29.99 per month or $239.99 per year.

This watch will be pimped by influencers and bought by their disciples until one of them steals a BOAL or films themselves trespassing and then we'll get a meme thread.

There are guys out there spending $800 to over $1K to pre-buy or early buy a Gen 6 Glock. 🤦‍♂️

$1,100 is laughable for what it offers. You can get all of these features on a garmin watch with no substrictions or extra fees that is less than half the price. My basic forerunner 2 does all of these things. The only additional benefit I see is Onx maps on the face of the watch, which I admit would be nice. That alone though is no where near justifying this watch.

I've been watching this Bridger watch closely and no doubt the cost isn't a price point for everyone. Highend smart watches from all manufacturers are focused on catering to nitch market. Simply making an easy to use and integrating app, paired with fast and easy to access the watch features will be huge compared to anything made by Garmin.

Also all this discussion about additional cost doesn't jive with the Bridger website information

To the people generalizing who Cody is I'd have to strongly disagree with that. I've known him personally for close to a decade and he's a super good guy. I for one am really excited about this watch. I've talked to him multiple times about it over the last 2 years.
The people he's had helping him engineer it have significant experience from other mainstream high-end watch manufacturers. (He's told me but I don't remember which ones)

Seriously who has that kind of money to spend on a watch? And why? When’s the micro chip coming that loads onX straight to your brain and tells you where to step…
Who has $5k to spend on a rifle setup? Or $1500 on a fly rod and reel? Or whatever a high end set of golf clubs costs? $5k for a set of giant shiny wheels?

Any hobby or interest has people willing to spend what seems like a crazy amount.
