Breathable hip boots

This topic has probably been beaten to death and back, and I've read some of the other posts on this; however, I am looking for updates on what has worked and what has failed. I am looking for something like the Hippies from Barney's, but I don't want a stocking foot wader. And unfortunately, they don't offer a boot foot style. I need something that I can roll down if I want, or keep upright. I have been looking hard at the Frogg Toggs Brush Hoggs and Bull Frogs, but not sure of the weight as I can't find that listed anywhere. Also not sure of their quality. The wader needs to be breathable, lightweight yet tough enough to able to handle the alders and other brush. I have looked at several brands but need some feedback from others who have gone down this same rabbit hole. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
