Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy some breathable boots that also have good support. Currently I'm looking at the Kuiu boots made by scarpa that seem to be very breathable, but I'm also interested in finding alternatives.

Any boot that has a goretex liner isn't going to be very breathable; if you want a truly breathable boot- you need to shop for non goretex boots

True.

Now, if you want waterproof and breathable... you're probably stuck with Gore-tex.

I bought those KUIU boots and they were too narrow for my foot. My son now wears them and loves them... and the liner is still waterproof after 4 years of hard use.

I went with some Crispi Thor II's (which are slightly wider), and after 2 years of pretty sporadic use both now leak. Love the fit, however.

I'm in Crispi Thor II's as well; I liked the fit so much I bought another pair and switch back and forth between the two pairs :)

Ha! They are sweet. Hoping I just kicked a cactus or something in terms of the leaks... will definitely buy another pair.

I’ll tell you what damn sure ain’t waterproof. Danner Vitals and Danner Pronghorns. Boy what a mistake. That price range (and cheaper) has always worked for me for 2-5 day hunts. But just got back from Alaska and soaking feet by Day 2 for me and 3 for partner. Thankfully we had waders and sun never came out, so living in them wasn’t a problem.
