Breakthrough suppressor cleaner

How does this work? Does it dissolve the carbon enough that you just pour it out of the can? Nothing gets trapped in the baffles?

That stuff will also free up a frozen SLR gas block. It made a mess though ha.

Has anyone use an ultrasonic bath to clean their suppressor before? Assuming one picks a reasonable fluid, I guess my only significant concern for a printed can would be of the coating/paint if it has any.

This company also sells an ultrasonic cleaner concentrate that is purported to be coating and metal safe. I haven’t tried it, but I likely will if I can get it shipped to AK

I’m a big fan of using weight as a factor of when to clean a suppressor. The other factor would be just looking inside of a suppressor and seeing the buildup accumulating.

Years ago my SF .30cal seemed louder than it had been. I weighed it and I had 5oz of carbon in the suppressor. It took a lot of cleaning but I got it back down to the original weight.

I’ve had good luck with stuff like that from eBay. They usually ship batteries, chemicals, small engines that have had fuel and oil in them.
