I am creating a brass deflector screen to put up at the shooting range to prevent brass from hitting me, or prevent my brass from hitting others. I know flying brass is part of shooting, but I have a couple of pistols that really throw it far and I feel bad for the guys to the right of me.
I plan to build the screen out of pvc and shade cloth. It will be collapsible similar to a target frame.
But I am having trouble deciding how tall and wide. It will stand on the ground since I won’t always be on the bench. This is strictly a deflector, not a catcher.
How tall and wide do you think it should be? Any thoughts on how you would shape it or design it?
