I know a lot on here use the ADG, Lapua, Peterson high end brass companies.
Other than those, for the normal guy reloading what Brand of Brass for most normall applications would you suggest using.

How do you all rate Winchester Brass over some of the others such as Starline, Hornaday, Norma, etc?

Starline brass is an excellent value. Has held up great in multiple cartridges. I still use Lapua and ADG for certain rifles but everything else gets Starline if they make it.

Don't know about Starline. Norma > Winchester > Hornady. However, weight sorting is a thing. Also, if you're running middling pressures and don't cry if you have to throw something out you will be more easily pleased.

There has been cheap Norma, sig, and ADI factory ammo out there for some time. The brass from all seems more than adequate to me.

Planning on 20 reloads out of my 6.5x47 brass. $1.30 divided by 20 is 6.5 cents a shot for brass. How cheap are we trying to go? It does make me look for it after a shot though lol.

In my .300 Wby I use only Weatherby brass. Everything else, whatever I have. I don't like any nickel plated brass, it tends to crack easier than solid brass. All my brass is probably 30 years old or more, except for .45 Colt Cowboy which I buy from Starline.

I agree, in the end it’s cheaper to go with the good brass as long as you aren’t losing it a lot. I bought cheaper brass at a little less than half the price of lapua and it looks like I’m only going to get a couple loadings on it, my last lapua brass went over 15 loadings running it hard.

Way too much fluff has been written about inexpensive brass being inaccurate. I liked the video Keith made on his Winning in the Wind YouTube. In a quite accurate rifle, military once fired brass turned out to be so near in accuracy to name brand brass that it sounded like he is all in on using it for his practice loads.

In my accurate rifles I’ve never seen a difference between brands of brass that amounted to much. Brass interior volume varies between brands so a well shooting load may need a slight adjustment, but the ultimate accuracy potential for hunting rifles doesn’t mean much.

My 1/2 MOA rifle that typically put 5 shots into 3/8 MOA did that with federal brass, ordinary RCBS full length dies, Nosler bullets, and a fixed 6x scope. I suggest to the kids in the family when they are asking for brass recommendations, to use Federal, Remington, Winchester, Hornady, Nosler or Norma brass if their rifle shoots larger than 1/2 MOA, and a premium brass if it shoots under that mark.

One habit that I encourage, is to toss an individual piece of brass that’s been part of a noticeable flier.
