For Sale: Brand new, never fired, Tikka T3X Lite, 300 WM stainless steel barrel. 24.3” and 1/10 twist.
But Wait, There’s More - FREE band new T3X black synthetic stock included for free with the purchase of the barrel.
This barrel was brand new, never fired, from my T3X donor rifle. There is some slight surface blemishing near the threads from when Carbon6 took off the barrel indicated by the red arrow in the photo below.
Why do you need a new Tikka 300WM barrel? Well, there could be many reasons. Your current magnum bolt faced Tikka may be showing signs of accuracy degradation and it may be time to spin on a new barrel.
Or…..maybe you want to chop the barrel to make a super cool 300WM shorty to attract women and curry favor with your friends.
This is your chance to make an uber handy rifle that possesses 24” .308 ballistic performance from a 16” 300WM barrel, or have full size 30-06 performance from a 17” 300WM barrel.
I can ship the barrel to @Unknown Munitions who will cut and thread the barrel for $135. UM will then ship the barrel to you for $16. If you need UM to spin the barrel on your receiver, they estimated an additional $35-$70 in shop fees. $271 to approx. $321 for a ridiculously awesome short and handy 300WM Tikka. 300 win mag barrel length for suppressor.
Getting my Tikka T3x super lite suppressed and wanted to shorten the barrel. If I reloaded it wouldn’t be as much of a question due to powder choices. My suppressor is a Dead Air Nomad Ti XC. I can’t imagine ever shooting at an animal over 400yds. What would be your suggested barrel length...
