Brake for Tikka T3

Justin I have only heard good things about the bastard brakes, are they a more permanent brake or do they detach easily? I would need to find a good gunsmith here in Eastern Washington to thread my barrel and install. Any suggestions?

I run the cheap 50$ brownells brake on my 300 win. No point of impact change and no difference in loudness behind the gun. huge reduction in recoil. 200grains feel less the a 25-06.

You can ship your gun pretty ez as well to say twisted barrel if your local smith is backlogged for a fast 10 day or so turnaround.

I've had the Micro Bastard installed on a bunch of Tikkas and it fits like it was made for them. I thinks it the best brake on the market for a sporter weight barrel.

My son's .243 that I just set up for him.

My 6.5-06 AI (not factory obviously)

I've seen several recommend the Micro Bastard Brake from americanprecisionarms.com.

Not sure if you need the 1/2x28 or 9/16x32

Literality just dropped my T3 off yesterday to have a MBM installed. My Gunsmith uses these all the time and says this particular brake helps with muzzle jump, esp in lighter guns. When I went by yesterday, he was actually putting one on a Sako.

4 port Mini Baby Beast in 9/16-24. He cut my barrel back 2" so with the brake, its just about the same length as stock.

Just got it back from gunsmith. He cut it back to 22" so the brake didnt add much if any additional length.
